Club Activities

Club activities with ideal environment and facilities

The MDU campus is surrounded by the richness of nature. Visitors to the campus are always surprised because the students look so carefree, refreshed and cheerful. The students enjoy university life here, which lasts for a total of six years. Students actively participate in club activities, which also shows that they enjoy their university lives. There are twenty - six clubs, all of which are very active, and are run with individual policies. Many sports clubs practice every day to win competitions against about twenty - nine other dental schools in Japan which are held once a year. Other clubs have just as much activity and enthusiasm as the sports clubs.

The All-Japan Dental Student Athletic Conference, which consists of dental schools and dental departments from all over Japan, organizes this sports competition which is held twice a year, in the summer and in the winter. Members of eighteen of the university’s sports clubs practice hard every day for the competition. The All-Japan Dental Student Athletic Meet is a good chance for students to demonstrate their efforts achieved through club activities.
