The Library Hall was built in 1985. About half of this two-story building (total floor area 4,576 square-meters) is the library.
Also in the building are study and seminar rooms, a student hall, large and small conference rooms, and music practice rooms.

The Library houses about 154,000 books covering all areas necessary for dental education and research. Each year about 4,000 new books and magazines are added.
The library features a book detection system and electrically-driven book shelves. The reading room is comprised of a large reading room for 200 people and a private reading area. In addition, a study room with a capacity for 30 students serves those who want to study after the library closes.

Audio-Visual Room (A.V.R)

This is an audio-visual library, which holds about 450 videotapes for dental education created by the Department of Dentistry at The University of Michigan, and about 2,650 other videotapes of lectures and other educational material.
