The Pre-Clinical Laboratory Building, which performs a fundamental function of this university's education, is one of the leading pre-clinical training centers. The experiments of physics, chemistry, etc., and the pre-clinical exercises for oral physiology, dental pharmacology, dental materials, technology, prosthodontics, and orthodontics are all performed in this building. This facility offers the benefits of a personalized education by making the most of audio-visual equipment. Each student is provided with his or her own TV monitor, on which the professor's demonstration is displayed.
This building houses professorfs rooms and laboratories for basic subjects. In addition, there is the Institute for Oral Science, which is the core of the research section of the university, and which serves as the base organization of the graduate school. For performing research of the highest level, this facility is connected to the High-tech Center, which has electron microscopy rooms and laboratory-animal breeding rooms.
